PDA Tip

Turn the system sound off. The sounds made when performing functions is unnecessary and annoying to others. It’s a distraction in meetings. Change your sound preferences depending on your environment. PDA’s should take a clue from cell phones and give you pre-assigned options for meetings, travel, etc. In the absence of that, you will have to remember to change the settings when you go into a meeting. You can always simply slie the sound switch to off which cuts off all sounds. That’s a sure bet. However, the device will still vibrate if you selected that option. Be aware that the phone can still ring unless you shut off the phone temporarily. You can still access the PDA functions.
