| | | Lock it Up How do you keep out prying eyes. Well, I would start with the locking feature available on many PDAs. If you're concerned about privacy, set up your PDA to lock after 30 minutes or so. You have to know the password to be able to unlock the device and access information. It adds an extra step when you want to access your PDA. So, you might want to use a short password. However, a hacker can still bypass this security and extract your data so don’t feel too safe. Be sure to list your name and a different phone number so that your PDA can be returned if it falls into friendly hands.

| | | Six Steps to Transform Business Cards into Business Relationships Do you follow up consistently with people you meet and build relationships that are mutually beneficial? To succeed in business, you must build meaningful relationships. You need strong relationships with customers, employees, alliance partners, and community leaders to build a sustainable business. Most relationships start with a simple step: exchanging business cards. The success of any relationship depends on what you do next.
Rick Cooper, The PDA Pro, offers six simple steps that will help you build meaningful business relationships after exchanging business cards.
1. Gather information to help you build rapport
From the point of first contact, remember details from your conversation and write it down. Pay attention to details about the person’s work, family, and interests. Make note of the names of the person’s spouse and children. This information will become very helpful to establish rapport when you follow up.
2. Enter business cards into your contact management system
Schedule time following events to enter contacts into your contact database. You can enter them by hand, delegate the task to an employee or use a business card scanner. The point is that the sooner you enter your contacts, the faster you can follow up.

| | | Browsing the Mobile Web The internet is great, right? So, that means accessing the internet on the go is a fantastic idea, right? Not quite!
The mobile internet is still not ready for prime time. You still have to be very selective about what sites you access from a PDA or other mobile device.
Keep in mind though that phone carriers are moving rapidly to make audio and video content available. One example is Vcast offered by Verizon. These are simply attempts to turn your mobile device into an entertainment platform. For the most part, it doesn't do much to increase your productivity.
Here are some great examples of sites that are worth browsing on your mobile device.

| | | Do you have a website or blog? If so, then I know you're interested in increasing traffic to your site. But, how? Internet Expert Andy Wibbels gives you everything you need to know in the upcoming Keyword Essentials program. Listen to what Podcasting Diva Penny Haynes of 1stpod.com had to say:
"I had heard about Andy Wibbels from everyone around me... Andy this, Andy that. They were bragging about Andy’s class... They were raving about Andy’s book. Finally, enough was enough! I had to find out if all the (good) rumors were true. But they weren’t. They UNDERSOLD HIM by a mile! I am one of those people that, if I can learn it myself, I will, but if I can’t, I will go to the Master in that field and pay him his due to get his information. Andy Wibbels has definitely earned his reputation. Personally, I thought I got my money’s worth from the first session alone! Yet it kept getting better with every class." | | | | | | | | |
